Abstract

The Theory of Functional Connections (TFC) was devised at Texas A&M just 8 years ago. This linear theory generalizes interpolation. Since 2016 several applications of TFC were found, mostly in differential equations and constrained optimization problems. After a brief summary of TFC, this talk shows the key points of some recent applications. These are

  1. TFC for boundary geodesic problems.
  2. TFC as a mapping tool.
  3. TFC for continuous integral constraints.
  4. TFC for minimum parameterization.
  5. TFC for fractional calculus.
  6. TFC for geometric algebra (if possible).
