Yalchin Efendiev came to Texas A&M in 2001 shortly after receiving his doctorate from California Institute of Technology. He has received several grants from the National Science Foundation, the Department of Energy, industry, and other agencies. He has numerous publications and serves on the editorial board of several journals.
